Energetic foods: The digestibility of spirulina
Declared as the “Millenium Food” by the UNESCO, spirulina is a superfood that contains a large amount of proteins of biological value, nutritive elements, vitamins and minerals. Spirulina has usually spiral shape (where it takes its name from), and is characterized by its deep green color due to the presence of chlorophyll, a pigment with a large amount of antioxidant, anticancer and cleansing properties.
Spiruline, a type of green seaweed with a large amount of nutritional properties that grows in alkaline waters of warm climates, can be found in two completely different ways: its original form, green seaweed, or as a pill, turned into a dietary supplement; even so, it can only be consumed as a pill or by crushing the pill and mixing it with healthy juices recipes, for example.
Improve your health introducing spiruline in your diet. You will notice the benefits!
